<description>Eighthly: Keep employees happy and pay them what they deserve before you lose them to a higher bidder and end up paying a replacement lesser. False economy.

<description>TTo connect you need to provide answers to questions that decision makers need answering. It should be a two way dialog. If the decision makers are not asking the questions, then you need to ask yourself why. It could be you are working for decision makers from the old world who are unable to get to grips with analytical marketing on the web. In that case your challenge is to educate the decision makers.
The fundamental issue is about relevance not dryness. Decision makers are primarily interested in two things. Firstly they want to increase revenue, and secondly to reduce costs. If your analysis / insights cannot be related to those two objectives, then you will undoubtedly have problems ‘connecting’ with decision makers.

		<description>Hi Tim,
Nice Blog. I actually randomly noticed yours via LinkedIn as I&#039;m currently a consultant at PA. I&#039;m pretty interested in anything Web 2.0, Social networking, KM and nearly anything that Google touches (including SEO).
Anyway I think you might be interested in the following blog &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/&lt;/a&gt; as it can sometimes have some interesting insights as to what Google is doing and other good ideas for UE, SEO etc...
Also - in direct relation to this you should also check out Google Trends to analyse key word usage. You can even add such a gadget to your Google Homepage. I presume their are also analytics gadgets out there to.

<description>another good analysis tool is Feedburner. it helps you track your feed subscribers - the ones that rarely or never actually visit your site but do read what you post (like me).

		<description>Hi Tim,
Sorry I spotted your blog so late (shame on me). I wanted to thank you for mentioning our blog and congratulate you for your last year Emetrics presentation. Aurélie talked to me about it back then and as you mention she posted also about it.
I&#039;m sorry we didn&#039;t meet at Emetrics this year, maybe next?
Kind regards and keep up the good work,
René
